Seat Covers For '95 Sc 400

I have a '95 SC 400 I bought in Oakland, Ca., a year ago. The car is in excellent condition and had only 48,800 miles on it at time of purchase. I have installed a K & N filter system, removed the resonators (great sound now), installed a performance chip and this machine rocks. Dreamed of owning one since they came out but finally got my hands on one.

She gets a complete paint job next week.

What I am looking for are some recommendations on replacing the black seat covers --- buckets and rear. They aren't torn but just showing wear. One search I made turned up Trimcar showing an impressive set of options for replacing the covers ---- full leather, 50% leather/50% vinyl and a plush vinyl. I was surprised that the pricing was more reasonable than I thought.

Anyone out there that has gone through this one.

Sorry for so many words ---- I get wired when I talk about the SC.

I'm looking for some performance enhancements like the chip you purchased. Could you share some of your upgrades with brands and model numbers. Did removing the resonators improved your performance any? Good luck with your paint job... Rick

Hey, Rick !!!

The chip is by Surge Performance (http://www.yourhotcar.com/prod/Custom/Performance_Parts/Performance_Chips/Surge_Performance_Chip/17558)

and it made a big diiference in start and mid-range performance. It was a cheap improvement too ---- $89.00.

Did you check on ebay for the cover leather? They are looked good for me. it is about $600 for 2 fronts seat and head cover. somtime they add with the arm-rest too. I actually have never tried that because I want sewing and customize my own style. Here are some pix of my work. :)
