dieseljeanslover Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 Hey everyone, I have a 2002 IS 300 with an all stock sound system. I've done some research online and I think my factory stock amp is shot. The LED on the radio lights up fine, cd's go in and eject easily but there is no sound-not even static coming from the speakers. :( I know the amp resides behind the glove compartment box. My question is how to actually remove the glovebox and replace the amp itself. Regarding the amp specifically, what can I expect in terms of wires and how it is actually mounted behind the glove box? Thanks for any help. :) Also if it sounds like no sound from the speakers might be something else please feel free to offer up ay other possibilities.
