Cigarette Lighter, Clock And Climate Control Fuse #11 Burning Out

I have a 95 LS 400 and yesterday the lighter (which I use to charge my cell phone), climate control and clock all stopped working. I have checked fuse #11 which was burnt out and replaced it. The systems all worked for a few seconds and then the fuse burnt out again. I believe it is caused by a fault in electrical for the lighter as when i was pulling out my cell charger from the lighter connection, the lighter connection broke lose. So I am assuming I may have short circuited the electrical.

My question is: Does anybody know how to remove the whole ash trayassembly (the one with the closing door) from the console?

And any other suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks, Mike

mnesbit,

my '92 has a similar problem without the fuse blowing out, but I have not taken out the ashtray to check it; there is a good tutorial on lexls.com for removal, if I recollect correctly.
