truckerr Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 The "plumbing" around the air filter box looks a bit complex. Does anyone have any hints on how to replace the air filter element? You first have to remove the plastic cover on the drivers side. It has these plastic buttons you have to push in the center to then take them out. Once you remove the plasitc cover you will the the air filter canister. The air filter canister has three clips on it. Open the clips and then you can remove the air filter. I found that putting in the new filter and trying to close the three clips on the canister can be difficult. What works for me is to put the new filter into the top part of the canister and put that down and close the three clips. Hope this helps
