Is300 Tail Light Cover

Did anyone try to open the tail light of your IS300?

I've bought a TRD tail light with titanium inner color long ago,

but recently the outer lid of the light was broken.

I am thinking to replace the outer lid of the light with my OEM tail light...

but the sealing was pretty hard I could not remove the lid of both my TRD and OEM tail light.

Should I put it into an oven to get the sealing softened?

does it work to the tail light as well?

Yeah it works exactly the same my friend did it on his tailights to paint them it looked really good so if you are just replacing the outside of it, it should be really easy just be sure not to break the clips on the tailight. and wear oven mits!
