NicLX470 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Would it be recommended to get these things replaced at 90k miles? The quote from Sterling McCall Lexus in Houston for a "90k miles service" seemed unreasonable @ 1600.00 for alot of things that I either do myself or get my local mechanic to do at a fraction of a cost. Also the 90k service did not include the timing belt, which I thought was needed @ 90k miles. So I broke down what I wanted specifically. So if I wanted the 90k service plus the timing belt it would be over a whopping $3,000. And the reason I want all the fluids replaced is because I bought the truck 2 years ago 2nd hand and have no idea when the last time it has been done. Are these prices within a reasonable limit? Timing belt replaced - $1056.55 Water pump replaced – included w/tbelt price Transmission fluid flush - $249.95 Engine coolant replacement - $146.43 Throttle body service - $115.95 Flush, replace, or top off AHC fluid - $50.00 A/C filter – $100.63 Differential fluid replacement - $150.00 Transfer case fluid replacement - included w/differential Lubricate Drive shaft bearings and propeller shaft - included w/ differential Total: $1869.51 <_<
