Swaseem
Hello Everyone! Just a quick question if someone can help me. I recently moved to KY from LA and it's pretty cold up here. I am not sure if I have antifreeze fluid in my radiator. I checked it and it is "RED" in color. Should I flush it out or it should be fine? Also, where is the tap located in this car? I flushed it out on my other car before and it was easily visible but I can't find it on my Lexus. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much! kingjack133
The red is antifreeze, have it tested for extreme temperature protection. You can buy the testing tool for under ten dollars if u want. I don t know about the tap but i would get the coolant changed and flushed for peace of mind. Lexusfreak
Have a coolant flush done just to be safe.....use a 1 gallon jug of Red Toyota coolant & a 1 gallon jug of distilled water (if it's not already pre-mixed). Ask the shop to give you back whatever is left over for future top us if ever needed. :)
