BillyShaft
Slightly larger than the screw you will be attaching the bracket/plate with. You only need to drill through the skin of the bumper cover...there is a captive nut back there for the screw to engage

I have the bracket, but not the screws that go along with it. I bought the car used and its in amazing shape, but I live by the college I attend and the cops love to have a reason to pull people over. Thank you very much either way. BillyShaft
My 03 RX300 had the screws taped to the bracket, if I remember correctly. I drilled the hole just big enough to get the screw in and it felt like it was one of those nylon nuts back there that the screw goes into. We may have to wait for one of the techs to weigh in on the screw size. Additional thought: Lexus is good at helping out a brother who shows up and asks nicely for some help. I bet if you showed up with your car, the bracket, and a sad face, they would pop on the bracket and plate for you.
