When I bought my IS 250, I was told that it was XM ready, and if I wanted to add it, the dealer said they would order the antenna in the color of my car. I just had it installed, and instead of installing the shark fin, I have an after-market looking bump on my trunk. Is it not possible to add the shark fin if it is not done at the factory?

I am a new club member and also have a "satellite radio ready" 2006 IS250. I want to have a satellite radio installed in it. The dealer says it costs $750. Car Toys says it costs $275 for the hardware plus $225 for installation. I guess I'd better check to make sure it uses a shark fin and not an after-market bump. Any info and experience you have would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes you can order the shark fin factory ant if it doesn't have it already. Make sure you order the antenna and the cable and if you live in NJ I can install it for you.
