Hesitation To Crank And Loud Buzzing Sound When Car Is Cold.

For the past 2 weeks or so, my 95 ES300 has had a slight problem starting. When the car is cold, if i turn the ignition, I hear a loud buzzing/grinding noise coming from the engine area, the loud buzz lasts for 2-3 seconds and then the car cranks and then starts. Even if i let it idle for 10 seconds, and turn it off and then on again, the buzzing wont happen again, the car starts fine, so this only happens when the car is completely cold. Any ideas what could this be? Thanks guys.
