there are also hard rubber spacers that you can insert in the Coils to stiffen them up as well - you can get these at any auto parts store i believe.

you have to roll your quarter panel

Which means you take your car to a specialty shop and they use a mechanical arm with big plastic rollers the size of a paint roller from the hardware store, and put it under your fender where the tires are and force the metal out so that there is more room for your 'Dubs'.

For years I did not know what rolled quarter panels were until I dated a guy that owned a body shop. They do it on mustangs all the time to fit them for drag racing tires.

I'd recommend getting 2" coil spacers. A 4-pack (2 for each rear coil) costs about $7.99. Gives about a 1/2" to 3/4" play, depending on what you have in the trunk. I had a sound system (2 amps, capasitor, 3-12" sub box) weighing in just under 90-100 lbs. which finally just gave me about a 1/2" play for each tire, just enough to take the rub out.

Let me know how it goes whether you roll your rears or not...LOL!
