Removing Rx300/330/350 Mark Levinson Radio/cd Changer

Hi,

Has anyone been able to remove the OEM 6 CD Changer/Radio that came with the Lexus RX and installed an after market system (CD,Radio,sat nav). I took mine to my local Pioneer guy to fit my AVIC-HD1BT sat nav and told me when he disconnected the radio, the heating/aircon and buttons controls where not working. Guessing there shud be a bypass to connect all this but he didnt want to fiddle with anythin so said he cant do it.

Wondering if anyone has been successful in bypassing this and how to go about it.
