Mr.Lee
We are repairing a 2004 Lexus GS300 and after we replaced the evaporator core and re-charged the freon, upon re-assembly the vehicle climate control either goes full hot or full a/c with no in-between. Codes 11,21 and 24 coming up. Disconnected BCM and pulled fuses to clear codes manually to clear codes. Codes and same problem came back. Please advise! GuyTelefunken
Code 11 - Room Temperature Sensor Circuit Check the plug on the room temperature sensor located in the panel below the ignition key. There is a small vent there, behind which is the room temperature sensor. Also check that the rubber hose from this sensor to the connector on the driver's side of the air distribution box is connected. Code 21 - Solar Sensor Circuit - Passenger Side Check that it is connected. Code 24 - Solar Sensor Circuit - Driver Side Check that it is connected. The connections for the solar sensors do not need to be disconnected to remove the dash panel. You may have inadvertently done so anyway.
