92 Sc Trunk Mounted Cd Player Dead?

how do you remove the cd player form the trunk? I kinda took a half !Removed! look but didnt have time to mess with it. I turn the car on and try to eject the cd magazine and nothing, I assume the eject buttom is supposed to be lit up but its out.
