Hi,

I have a 2004 ES330 and it's in like new condition and everything's been working great. But today the air conditioning on the drivers side suddenly didn't work. It was working yesterday when I got it home but today it's not.

The A/C works fine on the passenger side, blowing cold like normal but the driver's side is blowing what feels like outside ambient air. I can raise the temp up to hot and it blows hot, set the temp on cold and it's back to as I stated above. I've tried dual and single control and no difference.

I did search before posting but didn't find this same problem.

If anyone has any ideas please let me hear 'em !

What comes to mind is that you have a failure in the circuitry, motor or mechanism of one of the flapper doors that directs the AC air to the driver side of the car. I don't think that you'll have any choice but to take the car to a technician with the proper diagnostics. It is a strange one for sure. Good Luck!
