Do I need to have the hitch installed at the dealers first? Does the hitch need to be installed by a specialist. Any suggestions, brands, etc. will be welcome. Thanks very much. blk_on_blk Posted October 3, 2008 Share Posted October 3, 2008 I remember seeing a thread on here of a guy who was looking to find a hitch for his RX330... I can't remember exactly what he found, but it was aftermarket and it fit very well... he was happy with the result. It shouldn't be a dealer install... the wiring harness and lighting control for a trailer may be, but the hitch itself is not. If you are installing a bike carrier, you won't need all the wiring for a trailer, just the hitch, so it should be a pretty straight forward install. Even Uhaul has some nice hitches/accessories. Personally, I think the round tube hitches look more flattering on the curvy body of the RX330.
