stock05 Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 I have a 2008 Lexus and upgraded the the front door speakers with JL audio 6.5 C5 compnents, rear door with 6.5 alpine r series, 12 inch kicker subwoofer. They have a custom sub box for lexus is 250, JL audi cleansweep unit, alpine pdx 5 channel amplifier. The system is much louder and clearer than before, if you are looking for more bass, you get it but since the trunk has a large steel plate between it and the cabin, bass is drwoned out but still thumps if you need it to. Very happy with the system but it must be intsalled by a professional that knows what they are doing. Total cost for upgrade $2,000. I would do it again.
