Trouble Playing Dvd's

Just purchased a new 2008 ES350 with Nav. I can't get the audio system to play DVD's. I have tried several discs and none will play. It accepts the discs and the only display is similar to CD's that have been loaded. I have the car in park with emergency brake on. No trouble with CD's. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you get the UL or the Premium Plus package?

The UL (ultra Luxury) package comes with the ML (Mark Levinson) system that plays DVDs. The Premiun Plus does not take DVDs. If you want to play videos you would have to buy an iPOD interface and store your videos in the iPOD...

I purchased a"Pebble Beach" w/o the Mark Levinson. Wish the sales guy new that.
