2004 Lexus SC430.

The trunk will not open with the fob or button release. The button in the glove compartment is in correct position. Trunk can only be opened manually from console. Fuses that are in trunk are not blown. Any ideas?

Thanks-Frank

The car "thinks" that the valet switch is set. You'll have to get to the wiring behind the switch and verify that the switch is working using a meter. This is fairly easy to do if you have a meter. You can check the switch by removing one of the wires and then short it to the other wire. If the fob and button works, replace the switch.

Good luck -
