KingOr Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 My check engine light came on a few weeks ago and I took it to autozone and they gave me the error code saying the Check Engine Light/02 Sensor 1 Bank 2 isn't working. Every car repair place I have called are quoteing at around $500 bucks to fix this problem. Does this sound about right ? My car inspection is coming up in around a month and I don't think it would pass giving this error code. Any help would be appreciated on this topic thanks!
RLis300 Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Wow.. Thats a lot for an o2 sensor replacement. I would just get an o2 socket and o2 sensor from autozone and do it myself when you have some free time, If I were you. Thats should save you about $400 depending on the sensor you buy.
