Cargo Liner/tray

I'm looking for a solution to protect the trunk of my 04 rx330 as I use the car for work to carry around tools and boxes.

There seem to be 2 solutions; a cargo liner with 2 inch lip all around made of hard rubber and a full sized cargo liner which covers the entire trunk to the top of the rear seats.

Just want some feedback on either of these.

the material seems to be very soft where as the cargo liner i found, http://www.car-stuff.com/carparts/lexusrx3...rh21258311.html , seems to be made of very thick rubber.

and last with either of these solutions, are the storage places under the cargo area still accessible?
