Every time I start my car, and the a/c is on the rpm fluctuates (not much just a little but noticeable). furthermore, say after 5 min of car started up i turn on the a/c (full blast), when i press the gas the a/c blows more air vs when i'm driving at cruise speed. can anybody steer me in the right direction to whats happening?

The ac compressor cycles on and off so that could be the rpm fluctuation but if tuned right it should not be really anything more than a slight movement of the tach needle.

Check your battery. When you press on the gas the alternator may be giving you the voltage needed to put the fan at full speed and it is slow at idle because of battery output (low). Just my two cents. (Autozone will check your battery for free if you are intending to buy a new one from them.) ;)

thanks for the advice. I disconnected my battery left it for 10 min and reconnected and problem went away. also doing so my driver seat heater button now lights up when i turn on my headlights (it went out a long time ago...figured it was fused or something.)
