Sheetqt Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 My driver's side headlight is currently not working, was wondering if anyone can tell me what they think the problem is. I've had problems with it for a few months now, it would turn off by itself and then if I turn off both headlights and turn them on again it would start working again. This problem was mainly only when I drove in the city, and the headlight would almost always stay on when I was on the highway. I'm guessing because of the smooth roads. Recently the driver side headlight would turn on for about 1 second and turn off. Switching the lights on and off have the same result. My guess is the wiring or electrical contacts. Any thoughts on what this could be, and if I can fix it myself? Thanks
SW03ES Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Why try and fix it yourself? You paid a lot of money for the warranty that came with your car...make the dealer fix it. Its probably a bad HID ballast.
