CanadaCraig
Hi Guys!! :) I hope you're being good. Santa is watching!! Are OEM springs expensive?? [for a '93 LS] How much are they - do you know? AND how much would it cost - do you think - to replace the springs AND the shocks in my car? Can you get aftermarket springs that are - perhaps - 10% stiffer [or whatever] but do NOT lower the car? Just curious - because I'm a little concerned about the fact that my car is lower on the driver's side. Wouldn't that have some negative effect on ALL of the suspension parts? [not to mention the new tires that will SOON be on my car] Thanks, Craig!! :)
mickg
My 94 LS seems to have sagged at the rear. I can get 3 fingers between the front wheels and arch, but only 1 between the rear arch (full tank of fuel). It rides a bit higher obviously when the tank is near empty. Should the clearances be equal? I don't have any differential between left and right. Do new factory gas shocks significantly raise the rear, or is it time for new springs? 90LS400Lexus
When I thought my 90 LS400 needed springs, I called the local Lexus dealer and they quoted me a price of $100.15 each. Turned out that it was just my struts. Now my car is fine. Good luck.
