IamThFEAR
So I found some IS 18x8.5's 50mm on Ebay and I'm wondering does anyone run 18x8.5's on thier 02-06 ES? I'm going to run a 235/45/18 tire and by all my calculations I should'nt have any rubbing issues. Any thoughts? thx.

I ran a 235/40-18 on my 02 ES, the rims were 18x8 and had a 40mm offset and the rear tires would hit the inside of the fender only when I had an adult in the back seat and I hit a big bump. Don't know how that relates to you, but since the IS is RWD you may need to consider spacers on your rear wheels. steviej
IamThFEAR
Thanks man, good information. BTW I'm plugging that into probably the best tire/wheel calculator on the web, here's the link in case you don't know about it.
