Warranty Issue?

If you add a subwoofer in the trunk will it void out the stereo's warrnaty? I was thinking of adding something like an Infinity Basslink and have it connected but not directly hardwired into the car's factory system. I wanted to kinda seperate it but still produce bass. Does anyone have any insight about this or what can be done? Thanks!

Any kind of electronic or mechanical modification can conceivably void your warranty. That's a fact!
