NewsBureau
I am replacing the original Bridgestone Potenza run-flat tires (245/40/18) on my newly acquired SC430 with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's. Rather than prematurely retiring them to an environmentally unfriendly tire heap or finding them on Ebay, I'd prefer to give them to someone who will use and enjoy them, free of charge. I would estimate that they've got about 70-80% of their original tread life remaining. However, one of the four tires has a protruding rim bead, so I would not recommend that it be reused unless approved for reinstallation by a competent tire specialist. The other three tires are in great shape. Had I not noticed that one of the tires was flawed, I'd have gladly kept these tires. They ride and handle beautifully ... far better, in fact, than I had expected. If you live in South Florida and are willing to meet me at the Aventura Mall Sears in northeast Miami-Dade County when the tires are removed, please post your contact information in this thread and I'll contact you. My new tires are on backorder, so it'll likely be about 2-3 weeks before they arrive. Safe driving,
