Hello all. I have a 1992 ES300 with 209k on it. Car runs like brand new and very well maintained. Because of this, every time I notice any minor problem, I attack it immediately. I recently noticed that whenever I accelerate and the engine hits a high rpm (between like 3 and 4k), the engine hesitates or "bucks" a little bit. It doesn't do it every time. Probably at least 50% of the time that I accelerate hard. Just changed the plugs and air filter. I'm thought maybe one of the hoses got disconnected when I changed the filter but everything looks good. There is one hose that has a crack. I think the one that connects to the throttle body?? Sounds like a vaccum problem to me. Was thinking I would also just change the fuel filter also for the hell of it.
