bsnow Posted December 19, 2007 Share Posted December 19, 2007 Have error code P0442 in Lexus ES 300. Print out states that the probable causes are 1. Defective or loose fuel cap (not the problem, tightened fuel cap then replaced it with a new one Check Engine and Trac Off Lights still on.) 3. EVAP canister or hose cracked-not connected. 3. Purge or vent solenoid defective. 4. Vacuum leak at engine. Any one can tell me how to fix this or has any photos of the location of these items on the vehicle. Thanks for any help you can give.
