WFVETTE Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Hello, I just picked up a 93 SC400 for $7500 86K Jade/Grey excellent original condition. There is an issue that I can't put my finger on, while the car is in park there is slight engine vibration that can be felt in the steering wheel at 1500rpm and then appears to smooth out as the rpms increase. Anyone know what might be causing this? Thank you Bill
jzz30 Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 engine bolts to the engine mounts, engine mounts mount to the sub frame, steering rack bolts to the sub frame, steering column connects to steering rack, steering wheel to column, and hands feel vibration on steering wheel. possible vibration source: engine vibrational damper: engine mount you can figure out the rest :P
