Sprung My Filler Door

The spring on the actual door itself is broken. What can I do to fix this? It makes it hard to fill up by yourself. I did figure out how to use a book to hold the latch beside my seat up so I could go and press the front of the filler door in to swing the door out enough to get my finger in to pull it all the way open.

Yep same thing happened to me. Kinda of comical the first time it happens trying to get the door to stay open while pulling the lever but the second time, the fun is gone. Gotta go to the "Stealership" and buy a little clip that pops right in place of the one that broke. Fortunately it's a pretty cheap fix. (The ONLY cheap fix on the car)

Regards,

Ken
