RockysDad
My '92 ES has a rough idle condition and its sounds like the engine is seaching to find the perfect idle speed. Its at its worst in Drive with the foot breaks and AC on like at a stop light. Its a slow increase and decreasing RPM. The CEL light is on and pulling codes 25 (mixture control continually lean), 42 (VSS control) and 43 (starter signal circuit). Not sure what all this means but 42 sounds like the culprit and 25, 43 is the results. Anyone know where I could get more info on these codes and how to fix the problem? Lastly, I did try to clean the idle control valve or whatever thats called near the throttle body. Not luck... TIA..
RockysDad
Anyone??? Or better yet, does anyone know where I could find this info? One more thing I might do to is to clean the MAF sensor. Lets see if that works...
