Bardonia Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Several parts of the ES350 manual are very unclear. For example, on page 229, Section 3-4 entitled ‘Using the Interior Lights’ it says; 1) Door position OFF/ON The illuminated entry system is activated when the switch is not in the locked position (the door position is on). 2) ON/OFF Can someone explain this? Thanks Bardonia

Thanks Bardonia Seems to be a poor translation from Japanese. Anyway, I've figured out how it works. - In the "Door position OFF/ON" the interior lights will turn on when any door is opened. This will be your normal setting. - In the "ON/OFF" position, the light is simply turned on or off by the switch, regardless of the door.
