Kip
I need to work on my 94 Lexus ES 300, I just moved from Phx. Az. to a small town in the mountians! I need a repair manual but the thing that has always ticked me off about manuals is where I get to the part where it tells me to referr to a quilified service tech! If I was going to do that, I wouldn't be trying to fix it myself!! Some manuals do and some don't! But now in a small town I don't have the luxery of looking at it first, I must buy it first! Can enyone recomend a good manuel for me to buy??
homemechanic
try Mitchell repair manuals. It's quite expansive, but a lot more info that a guy working on cars at home can't understand. That's why I go w/Chilton. . .cheap and cover just the basic repairs.

Chilton is college level, unlike Hayes (high school level) easy to understand for anyone in a small town of AZ. it has alot of pictures.
