So, I set up my 1993 SC300 with Xenon bulbs, hoping for that almost-HID effect (both oncoming and viewing); the results were great, now made even better by angling up the lens reflectors to agitate every oncoming vehic... I mean so I can see the road more clearly : )

But now I'm greedy for more (I am definitely male): I've decided to replace the cornering lights with fog lamps; I'm totally hooked on this idea. There are only two problems I face now:

1) Will the cornering light housing direct the 100W Xenon bulbs well enough? If not, can I use 1995+ SCX00 fog lamp holders (i.e. are they interchangeable with the '93)?

2) How will I switch these lights without piggy-backing off of the parking lights/side markers (i.e. how can I make them independently switched)? I'm afraid that if they're always on when any other exterior lights are on, my battery/alternator will never forgive me. I want whatever switch I decide to use to look OEM... could I possibly take the fog lamp switch from a late model SC? It's probably on the same lever that controls the current lights, correct?

Thanks for fueling a mad-man's dreams...
