homemechanic
I was waiting for the green light and then step on the gas pedal. The car would not go forward. Turned it off and wait for about 2 minutes. Turned it back on and the check engine and trac off came on. The car was able to drive slowly, but wouldn't change gear. It is also making so whimming noise inside the transmission. I scanned for codes and got these: 753, 758, 765, 1760. They all indicating a transmission solenoid 753: shift solenoid A electrical 758: shift solenoid B electrical 765: shift solenoid D malfunction 1760: don't know what this code is I am wondering if the solenoid is having a problem or the entire transmission is having a problem. What do you guys think? Thank you!

homemechanic
I had the above codes and a winding noise. The overdrive band was out and bad solenoids. the whole tranny had to be rebuilt. if you don't have the winding noise, may be just the solenoids? good luck
