spi007
Hi, I have a 2000 lexus rx300. The passenger side fog lamp is out and the bulb needs to be replaced. I know that all I have to do is turn the bulb 90 degrees clockwise to remove it, but the problem is there is a long phillips head screw sticking out that blocks the bulb from turning! It seems the only purpose of this screw is to stop it from turning, and I've tried unscrewing it but it seems like the screw will not come out! Has anyone out there replaced their foglamps? how did you do it? and what is the deal with this screw? thank you for your help.

Unplug the electrical connection, connector, first, then the screw will not interfere with turning the bulb socket.
