shawn0986 Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 Alright, I have the complete how to on taking your headlights apart and painting the housing black, but is it worth it for a first timer trying it or should I get this done professionally? Everything sounds pretty simple until you get to the step where you have to put the headlights back together with silicone and all that stuff. I dont mind spending all that money to get my headlights painted professionally, but friends keep tellin me that I can do it myself because it is simple and less expensive. Professional or me??????? I did a retrofit for my g35 and warming it up in the oven to stick it together was a PITA. you will never get as good of a quality as professional work though.
