98sc400 Posted August 1, 2007 Share Posted August 1, 2007 I have a 1998 sc400 with 61k miles. Great car in every way except that recently a CHECK ENGINE light came on. I had it diagnosed and the mechanic said its the purge valve. Whats a purge valve???? Also, the car is now difficult to start in warm weather. Starts fine in cold or after being driven.
