Sumo Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Is there any way to prevent industrial fallout / rail dust?
Ripcurl Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Not really. Maybe clay bar your car the day you pick it up and then wax it to seal it all before it starts. I'd assume the dealer could remove this if you bring it up to them soon after your delivery date. If you're not quick enough, they might say it comes from the high way and give you the run around. How many miles are on your car?
Sumo Posted August 1, 2007 Author Posted August 1, 2007 I noticed the fallou at approx 600 miles. I actually brought it back to the dealer and they detailed the car for me at no cost. Most of the fallout is gone, but I just want to prevent it in the future. Otherwise, the dealership charges $300.00
