I am buying a 1999 SC300 in couple of days and i've been looking at ways to improve performance. I just wanted to know about What i could do With VVT-i because i've read around and seen that these engine setups have restrictions. I was hoping to get some sort of suggestions and truths about modifying this engine and remaining N/A. I guess my biggest concern was the cam gear sets. I've seen that they sell only the exhaust cam gear for VVT-i setups. I am wondering why, and how to get around any crazy restrictions to speed the car up a bit.
