1990 Ls400 Radio Removal

I must have a connection problem somewhere because when the car has been sitting in the sun for a while in south Louisiana the radio comes right on,but only works until the ac cools the car down. It has gotten steadily worse. I'd really just like to know where I can find a chilton or equivilant repair manual for the car so I can remove the radio with confidence.Pioneer says they can fix it for 50.00 or less, where Lexus of New Orleans wants 250.00 to send it out to be fixed, or 400.00 to swap it out with another unit.Any suggestions  would be appreciated
