AustinGT Posted July 16, 2007 Share Posted July 16, 2007 Hey guys- I am usually on the LS forum because I have an older LS, but my mom drives an 01 ES- the other day she was saying that in traffic she noticed that it was rather rough going from first to second gear. She is not an aggressive driver, so she was surprised..... when you really hit the gas, it shifts seamlessly from first to second, but apparently in heavy traffic it gets rough. It is still under the CPO warranty, so if there is something wrong with the tranny we'd like to get it fixed under warranty. The car has 79,000 miles, so it seems early for a problem. Any ideas as to what the problem is would be greatly appreciated! p.s., we bought it certified with 50k, and had the fluid changed again at 60k...
