Hi i have had my rx 300 since february. I got it at a buy here pay here lot so i don't have a warranty. the first time it cut off i had stopped at a stop sign. It starts right back up with no problems.

It started doing it more often and now all the time. When we start the car almost everytime once we put in in drive it cuts off and all the dashboard lights come on. Now it may take 20 times to start it up and it finally run. sometimes it only takes 2 times. Some days it gives us no problems. Some mechanic (street mechanic) said it was tune-up. He changed the spark plugs, pvc valve, and air filter. this was monday we didn't have any problems until yesterday and today and now it is doing the same thing. Does anyone know what this could be?

Search this forum for IACV and see if the symptoms described in those posts are similar to yours. If it is, its an easy fix.
