uzee71 Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 hi everyone, pls help my ls 400 90 model will display the trac off light always, checked out the diagnosis and got code 51 all the time. code 51 is a malfunction in the engine control system. does any ve a clue on what i need to do or where the engine contrrol system is located. when i try to clear the code it goes off only to come on shortly,once it is on the trac off button will not respond but does once i clear the code . lexus082 Posted July 6, 2007 Share Posted July 6, 2007 If your correct, that means that the Toyota mechanic didn't tune (install correctly) the new Sub-TPS sensor correctly. That's the code I am getting -code 47. Man does that *BLEEP* me off. :chairshot: Is the traction code 51 "problem in engine control system" a pretty useless code?
