iamhydrgn
Hey guys....thought this would be the place to ask this question. My vehicle is a 2003 Lexus GS300, 55k....new rotors, rotated tires, and oil change as my last repair. Car had been in good condition beforehand. Anyway... Have a quite noticeable noise coming from the left front wheel-area of my car. At low speeds (10-30mph), I can feel a loud thumping in the floorboard on the left side. However, at higher speeds, this noise/feeling goes away COMPLETELY. The sound was similar to that of having a flat tire. Also, intermittently, when I turn my wheel left or hit my brakes at low speeds, I can hear a loud clicking noise from the left wheel area too. Also, when accelerating from a complete stop, there is a sound like stones or pebbles rattling around in the area, too. I have no idea what is wrong....does this sound like anything specific to anyone? Tires were just recently rotated, and the clicking sound had been occuring for awhile...just not as severe. The thumping noise/feeling is new (as of this evening), and the rattling noise is within the last month. Not sure what it might be? Thanks in advance for your help. Did you find out what is was? My gs300 is still under the 4year/40k mile warranty so I'll have it checked out. Thanks

The clicking noise can be fixed by installing a front brake pad "Fitting kit" the dealer will know this terminology. The third, "pebble" noise sounds like clattering, Are you using anything other than premium fuel? These cars hate low to mid grade fuel. Also, I recommend an induction cleaning, should be offered by your dealer.
