lancesavage
Lost a key for my 2000 GS300 and checked with the dealer 240 bucks to replace, Wow!! Has anyone a reasonable alternative to this ripoff? Found some on Ebay and a keysmith that can cut them but the key with transponder is $65 and the laser cutting is another 40. Any help is appreciated. arsmtts
Please search previous post on this topic. I had to replace mine too.....Bottom line is that you'll have to pay at least $
Steele006
Cheapest way is on eBay, then get a Locksmith to cut it for you and do the programming yourself as long as you have the original key. If you get Lexus to program it for ya they will most likely charge another $60! I just got myself one from a seller on ebay with 100% feedback. xarxes
When you get the Key, go to the dealer.. They cut it for you either for free or for $10 After that program it yourself; Here is how: http://www.toy-lex.com/programming.html Take Care..
