Marylander
Hi all. I'm not currently a Lexus owner (I own a 2005 Corvette) but am seriously contemplating buying one. My question concerns the geographic discrimination Lexus seems to engage in in the marketing of various options. I am especially interested in the Power Active Vehicle Stabilizer. But it is only available, apparently, on GS 450h's shipped to the West Coast and Rocky Mountain areas. Why is this so? I have been told that special orders take 4 months, by which time likely the 2008's will be out. A second question, thus -- have any changes been announced for this model for 2008? Thanks! No idea why the active stabilization option isn't available on the East coast, doesn't make any sense to me. Personally I love the PCS and stabilization options :) The stabilization is most useful when cornering sharply (mountain roads, track, autocross, etc). If you don't drive in those situations often though, I would take the spare tire over the stabilizer.
