450h & Treo 650 & Verizon

Hi - New 450h here (have had Lexus before). Verizon Treo 650 phone. I do NOT need to transfer the phone book. Only to make/receive calls via Bluetooth.

My Treo 450h recognizes the car's bluetooth easily and quickly. I put in the passkey easily. Treo 650 says it is connected. The car says 'connecting' and never says it is connected.

Another posting here by katznjmr says that, though car doesn't say its connected, it still works (I copied that post below). BUT I tried from the car (pushing the PHONE button on steering wheel) and it says there is no phone connected.

Please help!

There is a known issue with the 650 and the Lexus bluetooth system. It will connect and work, however during the initial connection process you will NOT get a screen that says connection successful. After going through all the proceedures correctly, simply make a phone call and it will pair with the lexus bluetooth.//// But on mine it doesn't work.
