Scott M
I know this has been covered before, but I just can't find it. How is everyone cleaning thier microfibers? I have some which I use for cleaning the interior, some for waxing/polishing, and some for drying the car. I'm currently washing them in the washing machine with a little woolite and no softener. Is this correct, or is there a product out there which is designed just for this? I mean, the towels feel clean, but don't necessarily look brand new anymore. Thoughts? SW03ES
There are detergents designed just for the towels, but they're not worth it. What you're doing is fine. The rules of thumb are as follows: 1. Never wash MFs used for drying and MFs used to waxing in the same load. Once an MF has wax on it, it won't be as absorbant as before. 2. Neer dry MFs on high heat, the fibres are very thin and they will scorch rendering the towel useless. 3. Never use any kind of fabric softener as it will make the towels streak
